Purpose
This project started with a simple realization: it was way too hard to find shoreline cleanups.
Between scattered event listings, inactive Facebook groups, and word-of-mouth, there wasn’t one easy, central place where people could see what was happening near them—or share their own cleanup events. I knew there were passionate people out there doing great work, but it felt disconnected.
So I decided to change that.
Our goal is to make it easier for anyone—whether you're organizing a cleanup or just looking to help—to find, join, and share shoreline cleanups all in one spot. With an interactive map and simple tools, I am trying to build a space where community action meets accessibility, because protecting our coasts should be something everyone can be part of.
